As you create recipes in your Chefsbk you can add preparation notes to the ingredients e.g finely diced, batons, thinly sliced and so on.
Once you have decided on the number of portions in a recipe or a menu, the prep list function consolidates what prep needs to be done to which ingredients and for how much before starting to cook.
You are free to add whatever prep instructions and wording you feel appropriate.
Just like Shopping Lists, Prep Lists can be printed off or used on screen by you and your brigade to confirm when ingredients have been prepped.
